Paterson rapper Khamaal uses soothing instruments in the background of his new single, giving it an almost jazzy feel from the moment it starts. “On The Daily” does not stray far away from his previous songs in terms of sound and tone. It is soft and does not dominate your ears or overpower you. Instead of just highlighting the worldly things around us like he did on his song “Bubble”, he uses the hook to talk about a weed habit, an escape from the mundane and tiresome experiences that some experience or even see others experience. It shows the reality of some of the issues we face while still giving it fun feel:
